- Pictured is the Redbridge U-16 amalgamation team which was narrowly defeated recently in the Div 2 U-16 Championship final by Lavey on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-9. The game was closely contested throughout with Lavey taking a 5 point lead going into the last 5 minutes. However the team spirit of Redbridge shone through as they bravely fought back with 2 well taken goals by Packie Leddy and Fergal Flanagan which put us in the lead. Lavey secured victory with a late goal following a dubious free awarded deep into injury time. It was not to be on the day but the team had a great championship run and everyone at both clubs was proud of the effort and commitment shown by all the players.
