By Michael Cryan Anglo Celt: Butlersbridge NS claimed a highly commendable third place in the All-Ireland Credit Union schools finals, which took place in the RDS, Dublin, on Sunday last. Over fifty teams from all over the country took part in the under-11 section and competition was very keen. The boys and girls from Butlersbridge were always close to the lead and took a very creditable third place. They were just piped by one point for second spot. Their parents and teachers, who were in the RDS supporting them, were delighted with their performance. Congratulations to Jacqueline Henry, Caoimhin O'Reilly, Cailean Dolan and Helen McDermott on such a fine performance.
