Terry Keegan, Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan (with his 2.52 pounder) won third prize at the Lough Sheelin Trout Protection Association's stream rehabilitation competition on Lough Sheelin Sunday (1 Oct 2006). The competition with a Sheelin lake boat as its star prize attracted 190 anglers from every corner of Ireland. The winner was Joe Creane from Connemara. (4.68 lbs), John Murray, Co. Sligo was second (2.62 lbs)
