Cavan Ladies Football team were crowned Ulster junior champions for 2006 when they triumphed over near neighbours Fermanagh in a closely fought contest at St Tiarnach's Park, Clones on Sunday 6th August 2006.

Team Captain Grainne Smith (Butlersbridge) lifted the cup much to the delight of her fellow
team-mates and a large Cavan support.
